ABOUT THE PROJECT
Thabo dreams of an acting career. But being mixed race it’s hard for him to get cast for anything else but drugsdealer, bouncer, etc, roles he refuses. So Thabo fills his days staring in the distance at a local Moroccan tea room. He befriends a couple of refugees and through them meets Mokkadem, a 50-year-old man from Rotterdam. Many undocumented immigrants work out of necessity for this criminal. Thabo, against his will but driven by despair, also decides to enter the service of the Antwerp/Rotterdam drug cartel as … drug dealer.
